ENTEK® PRECOAT PC-1030

Copper pretreatment for application of ENTEK PLUS CU-106A (X)

ENTEK PRECOAT PC-1030 is utilized as a pre-treatment prior to application of ENTEK PLUS CU-106A (X). It 

provides a uniform treatment to copper surfaces necessary to insure uniform formation of the organic solderability

 preservative. 

When used in conjunction with the ENTEK Pre-Clean Cycle (ENTEK Cleaner SC-1010DE and ENTEK Microetch

 ME-1020 or ENTEK Cleaner-Etch CE-1015) the ENTEK PRECOAT PC-1030/ENTEK PLUS CU-106A (X) system

 provides ultimate coating consistency and solderability. ENTEK PRECOAT PC-1030 may be used in a horizontal

 process system, using spray or flood immersion or in a vertical immersion tank process.

MATERIALS REQUIRED
ENTEK PRECOAT PC-1030 (Product Code Number 6100) is supplied as a concentrate in 5 and 55 gallon

containers. It is used to make up the working solution and for replenishment. Reagent Grade Ammonium

Hydroxide is used to raise the pH of the working solution. Reagent Grade Acetic Acid is used to lower the pH

of the working solution.
